INTELLIGENCE
A number means little without its source.
Two hotels can report the same revenue and have entirely different financial profiles. A forecast is not equivalent to audited historical accounts. That is why LinkedVest is concerned not only with collecting numbers but with understanding what those numbers represent.
Identify the source
Is the figure drawn from filed accounts, a lease, a valuation report, an owner's statement or a management projection? Those distinctions matter. They should remain visible throughout the dossier.
Establish the context
For financial information, the reporting period, definitions and non-recurring items are important. For physical assets, area measurements, legal permissions, contract status and the date of the information can be just as significant.
Distinguish supplied information from verified evidence
We differentiate between what a participant has stated, what can be linked to a supporting document and what still requires independent verification. Receiving a document is not proof that its contents are accurate.
Use AI for the work it can do
Smart Intelligence can examine documents and help surface gaps and discrepancies. Legal, financial, tax and technical conclusions still require the relevant professionals and checks.
The goal is not a dossier with no unanswered questions. It is a dossier that makes the unanswered questions clear.
